The EFX OB van is our ‘Studio on wheels’ which serves as a mobile production control room. It is equipped with:
– Multi-camera inputs
– vision control
– sound-mixing
– vision-mixing
– live graphics
– insert playouts
– live streaming capabilities

This unit is capable of producing a flawless and all-encompassing television production. Equipment is of high broadcast quality. The OB van allows shooting of events and video production at locations outside a regular television studio, ideal for our remote broadcasts, outside broadcasting (OB), and electronic field production (EFP), Also making cross country production effortless.

FLIGHT KIT

Our versatile flight kits can be tailored to suit the needs of a large or small production. From single-camera to multi-camera shoots to live-streamed events 4k HD cameras service these units along with pristine wireless stereo audio capabilities, recording and playback equipment. Our Flight kits are built to specification per event with fibre chains or Remote camera control chat to us to build-a-kit that suits your broadcast needs.

STUDIO

The EFX Productions state-of-the-art high definition (HD) studio in Midrand boasts some of the latest technological advancements, including the latest addition to our suite, a VIZ RT virtual Audio-visual mixing desk. This futuristic approach literally brings the traditional television control room into your living room, appealing to the demands of covid-19 restrictions, making the ‘work from home’ approach accessible in a live tv environment

Political Parties enjoy our impartial production, and we have been the host broadcasters for the ANC January 6th Event for the past four years, we run various online/streamed productions.
We also provide technical support and media distribution for the EFF, and are currently building their head-office studio facilities in Johannesburg CBD.
